Members and Guests Enjoyed the “Behind the Scenes” Tour of Detroit’s Historic Masonic Temple

Designed by George D. Mason & Company architects, construction of the Temple was completed in 1926. The large complex includes a 14-story ritual building and a 10-story wing for Shriners International, a Scottish Rite Cathedral, two ballrooms and seven “Craft Lodge Rooms,” each with its own unique decorative treatments, including Egyptian, Corinthian, Renaissance, Gothic, and Romanesque styles.
