2022 Annual Meeting and Christmas Luncheon
In December, the Book Club of Detroit enjoyed our holiday luncheon and annual meeting at the St. John Armenian Church campus. Over 45 members and guests attended. Father Garabed Kochakian, former pastor of St. John from 1982 to 1992, gave a talk on the early history and techniques of Armenian illuminated manuscript illustration, followed by a tour of the manuscript area of the Alex and Marie Manoogian museum. We are grateful to all the attendees who donated to our very successful silent book auction. A great fundraiser for the club!

It’s always good to reconnect with old friends during the holidays. Quite a few newer members also attended and one of the most recent members won the 50/50 raffle.
