Bindings, Beautiful Bindings!
A Presentation by Acclaimed Bookbinder, Jon Buller
The 2022 May presentation at the Ferndale District Library by acclaimed hand bookbinder, Jon Buller, was well attended. We learned a great deal about the craft of fine bindings and had many questions. Former owner of Bessenberg Bindery, with over 40 plus years in the bookbinding and repair business, Jon taught us about various bookbinding techniques and shared photo slides of some excellent bindings from around the world.

These are some of Jon’s beautifully crafted bindings that he created. After the event, BCD digitized the slides that Jon used in this talk and distributed the USB drives to members at the Christmas luncheon.
