6th Annual Festival of Books a Huge Success!
Thanks to Ryan Place, the organizer of this event (and a former president of the Book Club of Detroit), BCD once again had a table in Shed 5 at Detroit’s iconic Eastern Market. A good number of our member bookdealers had booths at Bookfest and were very busy. Each year the crowds get larger. Kudos to Ryan and his excellent team.
Our booth garnered a lot of interest in BCD and several people joined. A huge thank you to all the BCD members who volunteered to man the table and promote our club.
