Jay Platt Arctic and Antarctic Collection
In May, the Book Club of Detroit (BCD) had a full house for a talk by Jay Platt, owner of the antiquarian bookstore West Side Book Shop in Ann Arbor. Jay spoke about Arctic and Antarctic explorers and his extensive book collection on them. The crowd was very engaged with many questions and comments. We’re grateful to Jay for his entertaining and informative talk and for showing us some of the highlights of his collection.
