BCD Visits Shaw’s Books in Grosse Pointe
On a beautiful sunny day, BCD members met at Shaw’s Books in Grosse Pointe Park. Owner and book collector and bookseller for forty years, Hank Zuchowski, provided a most interesting talk with good audience participation. We learned, were entertained and had the opportunity to purchase books from Hank at a good discount. And we did!
Shaw’s Books is one of the most interesting shops, with many comfy chairs to sit in while perusing books and all the other interesting items in Hanks’s collection.
After his talk, Hank examined books that the members brought with them and gave advice as to their value and how to establish that.
